The SCHULBAU International Salon and Exhibition for Educational Architecture in Hamburg will take place on February, 22nd to 23rd 2017. Target groups of the fair school construction are architects and planners, administrators and representatives from politics and administration, school building authorities, school principals and investors.
On thursday 16th of February 2017 at 11 a.m. Stefan Behnisch will be talking about ‘The Cathedrals of the Future – Building Spaces’ together with Reinhard Kahl (journalist and film maker) and Maria Haller-Kindler (spokesperson for children in Stuttgart). The panel discussion will take place at the DIDACTA - trade fair for education and training in Stuttgart, hall 3, stand C75 & C77.
Stefan Behnisch’s television interview with the BR Fernsehen, regarding a projected new multifunctional hall in the Munich Olympic Parc for Red Bull and the FC Bayern München, will be broadcasted on Monday, February 6th 2017, 10pm in the television programme “Blickpunkt Sport”.
The subject of the “Night at the Museum”, organized by Technoform Group is the new design challenges and responsibilities in urban planning and architecture, with a particular focus on facades. Stefan Behnisch is a keynote speaker. The topic of his lecture is: “From thermal building envelopes to complex skins, new challenges for facade systems”.
ARCHITECT@WORK 2016 in Stuttgart will revolve around the theme wood. With around 200 leading international exhibitors from all trades of the construction industry, the fair shows a multitude of product and system innovations.
The goal of the “Fachtagung Holzbau” conference is to strengthen and encourage innovation in woodwork. Selected projects will be introduced in detail. It is addressed to architects as well as to engineers and professional planners.
“Bedingt planbar?” is the title of the panel discussion taking place at the Hochschule für Technik in Stuttgart. After a brief statement about the office Stefan Behnisch will be part of the round table. Together with Stefan Krämer, Christina Simon-Philipp, Konrad Hummel and Martina Baum he talks about the urban development in Germany and Europe.
