Student Residence Complex ‘Nibelungenkaserne’

The new student’s dorm in Regensburg is to be built on the grounds of the old ‘Nibelungenkaserne’.

The new home shall be filled with generous and lively spaces that encourage the students to work concentrated, relax and communicate with each other. The building provides 162 dorms planned for single living, 18 dorms that are to be shared by two students and 5 dorms that are to be shared by bigger groups of students – giving them the opportunity to choose their preferred way of living. The building as a part of an urban concept shall work as a catalyzer, bringing more live to the city.
