We are excited to announce that we have been awarded 1st prize for the new elementary school in Bad-Neuenahr-Ahrweiler.
Our design envisages two cluster pavilions constructed in wood that float above the site and create a sustainable, special teaching and learning environment. The positioning offers the possibility to create differentiated outdoor spaces for individual rest and play needs. The jury was unanimous in its decision and delighted with the winning design: "The design is convincing in its approach and in the careful, almost loving way of the overall formulation (...) and immediately conveys the association of elementary school to a large extent."
