On Thursday, 20 October, the 15th edition of the Architecture Quartet NRW took place with around 180 participants on site at the K20 in Düsseldorf and was also streamed live. Three projects with green roof worlds from NRW were discussed by the interdisciplinary quartet, which this year consisted of the architect Stefan Behnisch (Behnisch Architekten, Stuttgart), the landscape architect Prof. Andreas Kipar (LAND, Milan), the moderator and journalist Andrea Oster (WDR 5) and the art historian Dr. Hilde Strobl (University of Innsbruck).
The roof greenhouse on the Jobcenter Oberhausen (architecture: Kuehn Malvezzi Associates GmbH, Berlin / landscape architecture: atelier le balto, Berlin), the roof garden of the RAG headquarters in Essen (architecture: kadawittfeldarchitektur, Aachen / landscape architecture: GREENBOX Landschaftsarchitekten, Cologne) and the Kö-Bogen II in Düsseldorf - Europe's largest green façade (Ingenhoven associates, Düsseldorf) were discussed.
