ARPA Headquarter takes shape

16 April, 2019

Both the administration and laboratory buildings of the ARPA (Agenzia Regionale Prevenzione e Ambiente Dell’Emilia-Romagna) in Ravenna, Italy approach completion.

Acting as a gateway between the urban area and the land surrounding the city, the project is part of a larger plan aimed to revitalize the area, together with a new school and a park.
The wooden facade merges with the landscape and wraps a flexible and modular space, taking into account also sustainability that is achieved through technological and material choices.

The project is a collaboration between Behnisch Architekten and Politecnica Ingegneria e Architettura.
