Behnisch Architekten re-opened its Los Angeles office officially in spring of 2019. The office, led by Kristi Paulson, was originally opened in 1999 and executed a number of major North American projects including the City of Santa Monica Parking Garage No. 6 and the Maximo Martinez Student Commons at the University of California Berkeley amongst others. As a project leader with Behnisch, Kristi was responsible for much of the work of the LA office. In 2013, the LA office took a hiatus while the firm focused on its East Coast commitments, however in 2019 Kristi re-joined the firm and together with Stefan Behnisch and Matt Noblett, decided to re-open its doors in order to serve the growing demand for our services on the West Coast. Kristi and her colleagues in Los Angeles are supported by firm partners Stefan Behnisch, Matt Noblett as well as all of our Behnisch Architekten colleagues in Germany and Boston.
