Excited to share progress pictures of the Vagelos Laboratory for Energy Science and Technology, a new home dedicated to the research of sustainable energy at the University of Pennsylvania. Facing East towards downtown Philadelphia, the solar sails bring diffuse daylight deep into the laboratories, while lowering the energy needed to cool the building.
