We were happy to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Josef-Schwarz School in Heilbronn. The new school, built in the Neckarbogen Quarter by the Dieter-Schwarz-Stiftung GmbH, will cover a total area of around 50,000 square meters. The project combines three types of school structure in one location and will offer bilingual teaching with an international focus.
The integrated construction concept combines minimized building services installations, a hybrid timber structure, geothermal heating, photovoltaics, and regionally procured and recyclable materials in an aspirational approach geared to sustainability and high environmental standards.
From Behnisch Architekten, office Partner Stefan Rappold, project leader Florian Waller, Anna-Lena Wörn and Igor Nakonechnyi were present. Thanks go out to our consultants for the great collaboration.
