Guest Critique 'Post-Carbon Architecture' Bauhaus University, Weimar

04 March, 2026

As part of the Post-Carbon Architecturestudio at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, our partner Angie Müller-Puch joined the final review as a guest critic.
In the winter semester, the course at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar places material at the center of architectural inquiry. The goal is an architecture that emerges from material intelligence: precise, resource-conscious, and expressive through necessity rather than excess. By understanding material not as a neutral medium but as an active driver of design, the course explores how sustainable thinking and architectural quality can be meaningfully intertwined.
We are pleased to contribute to the course as guest critics and to engage in dialogue with students and faculty at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
