The new University of Baltimore's Robert L. Bogomolny Library has been inaugurated on the 21st of September.
Following a 2014 competition the library’s renovation was completed this year. The aim of the project was the modernization of the existing building in order to accommodate the needs and challenges faced by nowadays’ libraries, taking into account not only working and storage spaces, but also socialization.
At the inaugural event Kurt L. Schmoke, president of the University of Baltimore, Vernon H.C. Wright, benefactor and former chair of the University of Baltimore Foundation, and Robert L. Bogomolny, former president of the University whose name was given to the library, were present.
