The statement given by Stefan Behnisch about this issue is realistic and constructive. How can an architect face the conservative forces that come in place, especially in the execution phase? These forces combined with the increasing security and the need of quick and safe decisions allow only a small margin for a contemplative and balanced design, creating a very difficult environment that hardly leaves space for innovation to emerge. How is it possible to engage internal processes that allow the development of the best possibilities not only in terms of formality but also contentwise?
