Michael Innerarity, Partner at Behnisch Architekten talks about “Perspektiven aus der Praxis: Wie gehen Architekten mit den neuen Herausforderungen um? (“Perspectives from the field: How do Architects deal with New Challenges?”) as part of the seminar “Nachhaltig planen und bauen“ in raumprobe, Stuttgart, Germany.

One of the major challenges of our time is achieving climate neutrality in the building sector. The construction industry has the task of meeting the ambitious targets set by politicians and reducing CO2 emissions generated during construction, operation and dismantling of buildings to zero. However, managing this process to comply with complex regulations and certifications is difficult to reconcile with how today’s construction industry functions. It is becoming increasingly challenging for planning and architectural offices to find their way through the multitude of requirements and specifications.

This seminar provides in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, changing building regulations and new standards.
