Sportpark Ost Regensburg

Regensburg, Germany

With the new construction of Sportpark Ost in Regensburg, we are creating a high-performance and future-oriented center for swimming and athletics. Located on the grounds of the former Prinz Leopold Kaserne, two distinct and architecturally refined buildings - an athletics hall and an indoor swimming pool - are being developed, connected by a central, light-filled foyer.
Our design combines functional clarity with sustainable construction and a sensitive integration into the surrounding neighborhood. Synergies between the various uses, along with barrier-free access, a generous forecourt, and an integrated sauna for athletes, enhance the appeal of the facility for both athletes and visitors.
The architecture emphasizes the use of sustainable materials, highly efficient technology, and renewable energy sources. A forward-looking usage concept makes the Sportpark a place of movement, social interaction, and urban integration.
